When the brain knows but you don’t why
On Facbook today, my eyes suddenly jumped from the posts to a specific photo in the Friends section. I hadn’t seen it in a while thinking that his family must have closed the account shortly after he died. But there it was again. Comforting to see it and notice how it flooded my brain with good memories. For some inexplicable reason I clicked on his photo. It read “… is offline but you can send him a message.”
My brain giggled up inside because it was such a great inside joke. We both had trained in hypnosis and had had many discussions about telepathy and other mental phenomena.
Whatever you call it – intuition, psychic or telepathic, you’ll find many people claim these experiences, which science has no explanation for.
It’s not really know if women more than men have these telepathic experiences, but women appear more open to discussing them. Men,by comparison, are more likely to attribute it to a “gut feeling.”
While parts of science are still in the camp that “it doesn’t exist because there is no rational explanation,” other areas of science are exploring how brain wave energy patterns can be used for communication.
Reading your thoughts may be not that far away. Researchers are already working of deciphering the inner thinking voice of your words based on its similarity to the sounds of those words when heard aloud. Sounds emit variable energy patterns in the brain which can be analyzed and hopefully one day used for communication with those unable to speak.
It seems the military is also very interested in thought communication. According to a 2008 article, the Army has a $4 million contract with the Universities of California at Irvine, Carnegie Mellon and Maryland to develop voiceless communication “thought helmets.”
The concept is to train solders to think in certain ways so that their thoughts would be transferable. It would convert the brain waves of the sender into radio waves. The radio waves would be received by another soldier’s helmet which would convert them into decipherable voice recognition.
If you’ve had telepathic experiences, it ready doesn’t matter how it works in your brain. Your brain performance is based on processing energy information, in some as yet understood fashion, and conveying it to your conscious awareness in a manner that works for you.
My friend appeared for the first time in a dream. It immediately made sense to me but I was hesitant if I should share it with his wife. As we chatted, I made mention of the dream. Her response – “I’m so glad you told me. I didn’t want any messages from him in my dreams until I was ready. I just made up my mind today that it would be okay if he did so.” While I don’t understand how this works, it doesn’t matter to my brain. It did its job by bringing it into my awareness and turning me into a confirmation messenger.
And, now I need to return the favor and send him a message of thanks even though he’s offline.
